Demographic InformationHomeless/Floating YouthIn 2002, 181 youth, 98 females and 83 males, were identified as homeless/floating youth in Marquette County. The majority of homeless/floating youth were 17-18 years old. Floating youth are young people who are no longer in their family home and move from place to place (i.e. a friend or relative's house) to sleep.
