Promising PracticesPromising practices refer to models of service delivery that have shown effectiveness in accomplishing desired outcomes and improved services. Promising practice models conduct comprehensive evaluation, but have not necessarily replicated the same model and outcomes in other sites or in controlled research settings. In contrast, best practice refers to models supported by more than one source, where results have been replicated in more than one site and the model/process supported by researched theory and expert opinion.
