Elementary-Age Children (ages 6-11)

Child is motivated to do well in school.
Child is attentive and engaged in learning.
Child does homework when assigned.
Child cares about her or his school.
Child reads alone and with adults.

Teenagers (ages 12-18)

Teenager is motivated to do well in school.
Teenager is actively engaged in learning.
Teenager does homework every school day.
Teenager cares about his or her school.
Teenager reads for pleasure.
